Diesel engines - clockwork - 1966 and later |
|||
|
|||
The last discovery is a somehow holographic "B" at the left lower corner of the cabin's right side. This letter appears on locos after 1966 and it seems to me that it was somehow punched. I have found B's at the 013, 013B, 013 orange and 013 bright green. This mark is (not) yet found at the 013 A and 013 E. |

the blue / yellow 013 A | |||
1st version: imprinted 1013, blue / yellow superstructure, red chassis and red clockwork housing. New switch. Indicated stairs both sides of the cabin - on the right side of the hood it says "2-B". This engine came out in 1968 together with Zoo sets - available single as well. This one still having the small dome. |
|||
as of here all listed locos have the larger dome on the roof - thus were produced 1971 and later
2nd version: as above however now black chassis. This version may appear with black clockwork as well |
The hood shows cooling slots
right side of the hood |
left side of the hood |
||
Cabin backside shows the "Biller-B" with key and "Made in Western Germany" | double lithographed rear fishplates
the red 013 B - "Lady in Red"
1st version: red superstructure, beige (nearly white) roof, black chassis and clockwork housing. Black cabin-internal clockwork cover, black cogwheel switch. All red engines had no inscription except the "Biller-B". All following black clockwork versions were offered first - and probably only - in 1971 |
|||
Version 2A: as above however now red clockwork housing and black chassis. Roof colour beige |
Version 2B: as above however now red clockwork housing and black chassis. Roof colour bright grey |
||
Version 3A: last version - all in red. After 1974 this version had NO axle cover and NO clockwork cover inside the cabin. Roof colour beige |
Version 3B: last version - all in red. After 1974 this version had NO axle cover and NO clockwork cover inside the cabin. Roof colour bright grey |
||
and finally another version No.3 showing now a ruby-red frame - else identical to the above mentioned version | Litho on the right side. Left side is the same - except the "Made in Western Germany" inscription
the cooler | the 013 B lithography from the rear
The colour-patterns of the following listed Diesels were NEVER described nor appeared in any listing.
the bright green 013 | |||
Version 1: the bright green 013 with black clockwork housing and black chassis, roof beige, black cogwheel switch, lithography as shown at the red 013 B |
Version 2: red chassis and red clockwork housing. At least this model still has the cabin-internal clockwork cover - but NO axles covers. |
||
Version 3: This version had NO axle cover and NO clockwork cover inside the cabin. |
|||
A possible 4th version would have a black chassis and a red clockwork cover. Theory so far only - but who knows???
Version 4 (or it would be 2 in fact): just a mix of the above listed versions - red clockwork housing and black chassis. So far only theory - but most likely to appear the other day.
the orange 013 | |||
1. Version:
orange superstructure, black chassis and black clockwork housing, roof beige, cog wheeled switch, lithography as shown at the 013 B. |
1. Version:
the other side |
||
2nd version: orange superstructure, black chassis and red clockwork housing, roof beige, cog wheeled switch, lithography as shown at the 013 B. |
2nd version: red chassis |
||
3rd version: had NO axle covers and NO clockwork cover inside the cabin. |
4th version: having the old flat switch (which - regarding timely aspects - does not really make sense), red clockwork and chassis. Most probably assembled after business had ceased. |
||
the multi-coloured 013 (Biller-Outlet engine)
Seems to be a funny constellation - but was available as shown - NOT delivered by Biller. |
This engine has - so far - only appeared as clockwork version. Lithography as shown at the 013 B
It is to be assumed that this engine was made from left-overs after business has ceased and sold in order to earn some extra.
